  • 2:53:37 speaking of liberals wanting open borders. JP gave liberal intentions way to much benefit of the doubt. They dont want "free flow of ideas". Liberals want open borders to ensure a continuous flow of peasant-class government dependent voters to vote Democrat.

  • The uncut version of an interview conducted oct 4 2018. Jordan B Peterson and his way of articulating the issues of being (a human), is probably the most important contribution to the modern Western society. Truly the most important philosopher of this age. Never will he become unrelevant. Millions of people making gradual improvements and taking personal responsibility can attest to that. Every day. Far more than any "social justice warrior", "activist" and other thugs, when in the name of good, does the complete opposite.

  • Do unto others as you would have them do unto you is NOT part of the 10 commandments. But, It is a biblical principle 👍 Also the definition of meek is nothing new. Christian leaders have done much expository on the meaning of the “meek shall inherit the earth” and have explained the meaning as strength under control. I appreciate DR Oz , but he revealed his lack of biblical understanding. I was glad that Dr Peterson has an accurate understanding of biblical scripture .

  • Good mental health is worth the effort. I've been seeking the balance all my life. Dr Peterson is a profoundly insightful, intelligent, wise and empathetic man. Maybe the best I've ever witnessed. People are people - some doing good things and some doing bad things. There is a way that people doing bad things can also live good lives and do good things. I know, life is a contradiction. Like Dr. Peterson says, above all, bring good things into the world and good things will come back to you. To me he is a sage, a wiseman. His humility is thoroughly inspiring. Take love into all things. You'll be amazed at the results.

Far more illegals are here than people know. No English, reading, writing, knowledge of history & culture. Border agents get sick. All those new viruses, third world/poor countries. Yeah, those rules, rules fair far all. There are chicks that just date, or live together . When you live together, you're only there cause you want to be. You don't take the other for granted. They can leave at anytime.

Internet is anonymous, jealous , arrogant, victim, bots, etc......ignore. Right on with uneducated loud mouths telling others how to live. Religion is how you live your life everyday. It's a test of faith, that there is something more. We're all here to die. Money is not success . Life is far more important. I had a life story, was on track, than a gal on drugs hit me while I was walking. Lost one leg, the other reconstructed. God had a different plan. Best thing to happen, possibly.

  • “The mainstream pre-pandemic triumphalist narrative that extreme poverty is nearing eradication is unjustified by the facts and fosters complacency. It relies largely on the World Bank’s measure of extreme poverty, which has been misappropriated for a purpose for which it was never intended. More accurate measures show only a slight decline in the number of people living in poverty over the past thirty years. The reality is that billions face few opportunities, countless indignities, unnecessary hunger, and preventable death, and remain too poor to enjoy basic human rights.” - Philip Alston, United Nations Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights ispast.info/losk/v-deo/d6Bqdnu3lprLr4I.html

  • Saying we can’t give people a citizen’s dividend because they might spend it on illicit drugs is like saying we can’t give people the vote because they might elect fascists. It’s profoundly anti-democratic and reactionary. We need to do more for those struggling with addiction, of course, but keeping them in poverty is neither a long-term nor a humane solution, and it shouldn’t inform what policies we decide on to strengthen the social safety net. That Peterson’s argument is even considered remotely persuasive should worry us all.
