  • I can never imagine how they feel. Even for me, when my mom finally sits down to spend time with me, and pulls out her phone only to take a picture. Then goes back on her phone the whole time; really hurts. It feels like in order for her to have good pics for Facebook she hangs out with me. So I can’t even imagine how these children feel. Ps. Love my mom to death she just really love approval from Facebook and it’s annoying.

  • What makes me really sad is that some of the kids might be watching these channels looking for family life content and parent role models that are missing from their own homes... Bruv just imagine exploiting little vulnerable kids for money and fame...

  • Given how fucked up child actors have turned out, when they are protected from working long hours, and their money is put away for them, and only have cameras on them while they're playing parts, I think they're going to have some serious issues. This should be illegal. It's exploitation, forced child labour, and humiliating. It's bad enough as a kid when your mom shows your friends baby photos when they come over, anyone can pull up every moment of these kids' lives on ISpast whenever they want. There's just nothing okay about any of it.

  • I think one of the worst things about this type of content is seeing how unreactive they are to being so rich. Like when the dad from the Royalty family was opening that Louis Vuitton bag he had to try so hard to act excited for the camera. They're so rich that gifts like that are basically meaningless. I also just think about how that culture messed me up as a child. I grew up on the main line in PA which is a very affluent area, so I grew up around classmates even in elementary school that were flexing designer clothing and goods. My family also had friends who were pretty rich. I was only 10 when I was obsessed with getting designer items, and I would spend all my allowance money on stuff like Hollister and Abercrombie. It's so unhealthy especially for young people to be seeing these displays of wealth and have this mindset of materialism. And the fact that they try to say "we became millionaires this way, you can too!" is such a scam, and obviously not everyone can do that because there's not enough money for everyone to be a millionaire. I'm just thankful personally that this content wasn't around when I was growing up, because seeing glimpses of it irl was damaging enough.

  • Family vlogs are sooooo tacky and desperate. The parents are always such stupid people with no imagination or creativity, so the content ranges from vapid, materialistic garbage to blatant child abuse.

    Mika ThorpeMika ThorpeDegi Síðan síðan
  • I feel genuinly bad for theses kids, because if you think about it, this where the "my kid is having a mental breakdown and im going to record it and threaten to post it if they dont stop" mentality comes from and that shit can f#ck you up alot. I hope they can get out og there as soon as possiable cuz child exploitation aint a good look :/

    emilyemily2 dögum síðan
  • Cody what you are feeling is compassion and understanding for the children. I have said this ISpast really needs to start protecting kids. These family Vlogs are so damaging to the mental health of these kids. Just let a child be a child. Stop putting a camera in their face. I really will not be surprised if in 15 years time we see these kids just going off the rails.

  • It’s sad that the parents make that little kid get on camera and talk about the dad situation. That really is something that shouldn’t be discussed like that on a public platform until he is mentally and emotionally mature enough to process the weight of that situation. But it’s a dramatic situation that will equal views because people are nosey. I think THAT topic specifically is a hard situation for people to empathize with unless they are the child, and that includes the parents finding empathy difficult too. We didn’t need that child to disclose his absent father. Yikes.

    Kaila WatersKaila Waters7 dögum síðan
  • It's disturbing because it's like these people had children just to do this, and these kids didn't have a choice to consent to being on camera. Like it feels like they're forced. For their parent's monetary gain. Especially their BABIES. It is so creepy. I would hate my parents if they shoved a camera in my face all day all of my life

They are very genuine and are fantastic parents. They don’t share their wealth they are just a normal down to earth family. It’s always so cringe when they “say hey royalty fam.” Like in the middle of a blog so weird.

  • they use their children for money, more kids=more money, this will for sure mess the way these kids are going to grow up, not to mention what a bad example their parents are. it's just the way that celebrities treat kids that disgusts me so much, they marry another celebrity after one year of knowing each other they have kids and then eventually divorce because they do not love each other, they really do not give a fuck about the children, truly disgusting. you have kids if you feel good and ready to rase a human, not as a treat not as a "gift" not as an accident, some people should not have kids at all..

  • Like one of the top comments said, it's sad because kids will go to these videos because of their life at home. They long for a happy, 'normal' family and it's their escape but coming from someone who used to do that as a kid it 100% just makes it so much worse for the kid because they know they won't ever get the childhood that they saw in those videos. Looking back on the videos makes you feel so horrible for the kids having to live like that daily.
