2015 Personality Lecture 06: Depth Psychology: Carl Jung (Part 01)

23 jan 2015
2 384 153 Áhorf

Carl Jung was a great psychologist of symbolism. He believed that the imagination roamed where articulated knowledge had not yet voyaged, and that it was the artist and visionary who first explored new territory, civilizing it, in essence, for those who came later. The study of Jung makes the dead religious past spring back to life.

  • Extremely interesting and instructional, showing Prof. Peterson squeezing ridiculous amounts of meaning from a cartoon. Not for a minute do I believe that the Disney Cartoonists/Producers from 1940 had the level of depth or sophistication attributed to them by Prof Peterson, consciously, unconsciously, or subconsciously. In fact, if anything, this is a demonstration of Prof. Peterson's and his tribe's intellectual Achilles heel: Assumptions heaped upon presumptions. Let me also declare: I am open to and welcome being proved wrong, and readily offer to change my opinion, if someone can do an in depth analysis of the people who made the Disney Cartoon movie: Pinocchio and can clearly show that the Cartoonists/Producers could possibly possess the sophistication and intellectual depth attributed to there Production by Prof. Peterson. Otherwise this is an exceptionally well constructed and cogent fantasy, which serves its purpose well.

  • I just wanted to mention that it was an interesting show or lecture but your terminology of the snake is incorrect it is it represents the coiled energy trapped in our bottom three energy centres and it comes from yoga the terminology so that is a fact about you should go check that out because that was completely wrong the demon and that has nothing to do with with a snake has nothing to do Satan Reference and Satan As said by Jesus in his real teachings is our subconscious mind as long as we believe in this world with our five senses as to be all there is we live in body consciousness instead of God consciousness if we meditate raising your kundalini is the movement of that coiled energy from my bottom three any energy centres so when Moses was in the desert he said while raising the serpent and sold the son of man must also be raised that was referring to us raising our coiled energy or having our spiritual birth

    • I’m not actually counteracting it with a belief it’s because if you really get into yoga it’s not a belief because it’s a physical process that you do it’s called pulling the mind out of the body and when a Yogi puts their tongue up the back of their throat into the nasal passage that shuts off the lungs and everything you going to breathless meditation and yeah it’s not like a belief it’s a fact it’s a physical act that is things yogis do If I was just reading a book and saying something like that then it would be a belief when you go into the quantum field or the kingdom of heaven as Jesus called it that’s in meditation so when you pull the mind and the body through breath work it’s a physical act anything you learn in that state is absolute truth it’s pure consciousness you’re going from a 1000 Bites of data a second with your consciousness to over a 1 million I don’t wanna argue about it but I strongly advise you check it out because when you’re in that place you can see anything no anything like it’s incredible and it’s how a human evolves , consciously Science is actually proven know that in that state you up regulate genes The human bodies only like using 7% of our genes In yoga when you pull the mind out of the body you activate Genes that would otherwise lay dormant and Really all I was doing was specifying because of the fact that the church represents the serpent reference as the demon or Satan But in Jesus real teachings and with what the swamis in Yogi say which is the same that Satan is satan is our subconscious mind or ego In fact swamis told the Romans that if they were gonna follow in their foot steps and Abstain from sex that they had to follow in their teachings because no man could do that without meditation in that state I was mentioning before when you first pull in mind out of the body your Penial gland creates the chemical Found in hibernating animals it reduces sex drive and suppresses your appetite and it reduces your attaching to the outside world and then it tweaks that chemical turning it to the same chemical found an electric eel upright you know activating more electrical current and then it switches it again turning into the same chemical the terms of Caterpillar into a butterfly And then eventually into DMT and then be in between all each of those as a whole host of anti-cancer anti-aging antioxidants and so forth that’s actually the name given to stick in the tongue of the back of the throat end of the sinus passage is in the Bible where they refer to the holy grail or the fountain of youth that’s what they’re referring to the at least that’s what the proverb really means I’m not suggesting that you stick your tongue out the back of your throat into your sinus passage unless you’re capable of that and I would wait till a while of meditation but you can pull the mind out of the body with breath work and in doing so when you’re there any ailments that your body has will go away immediately and that’s another fact not just like ass talk anyways hopefully you have a good day and a good new year as well and all I can say is check out meditation because it’s incredible it’s the best feeling you can ever imagine better than any you feeling take care

When the student is ready, the teacher appears... guess that's so true. It did take a good load of existential terror and some extra 20 yrs to get me ready for this. Everything at it's time. At around 14:00 I began to wonder what his thoughts on the Unabomber’s ideas are and he starts talking about the mastery of fire and how it was the root of our technological prowess but this turns the whale into a dragon which is symbolic of how it makes nature angry and defys the natural order and could destroy us. Eerily similar to what Ted Kaczynski tried to warn us about.

Then we will be light beings traversing the universe in all its parallels, to impart our ancient knowledge upon life forms in their infancy, as they (the light beings), do now with us. • If Jung was a homophobe, a racist or a sexist It wouldn't even matter. Peterson would simply say he was from a different time with a different set of cultural attitudes and all his ideas should not be discredited for that reason. There was plenty of evidence that Freud was a racist and nobody even needs to mention it. If you want people to think there is a Jewish conspiracy then treating antisemitism like it's a worse thought crime than prejudice against any other group is a great way to go about it.
